West Academy is one of the known duelist schools in Yu-Gi-Oh GX.
Known Information[]
It appears that Professor Viper has a significant voice in the school (possibly Head Professor) since he was able to implement Survival Duel prototypes before introducing them to Duel Academy. It is also possible that West Academy is located in a militaristic country (possibly the United States) or somewhere in Africa since both of the students have militaristic connections and have been in jungle terrain before. West Academy is known to have some dangerous rules such as Axel who learned how to perform potentially fatal stunts with no apparent punishment or denial from West Academy.
Manga[]
In the GX manga, the duel academy in the United States bears many similarities to the West Academy in the anime, being military-like (the uniforms resembling US military outfits) and the source of an evil teacher (principal in this case). In the manga, all the overseas champions are from this branch.
